Along the Garden Path…with Beau

I spend most of my time in the front garden  now that Carlos whacked “buzzed”everything back in the rose garden.  It was nice when it was in full bloom … I could hide my toys in the fountain … chase the cats….

Orangeman thinks if he hides behind the plants I won’t see him….I like to humor him….he is getting on  in years…so I don’t “always” chase him…

Now I spend most of  my time here chasing the quail or searching for “Orangeman’s” hiding spots.  He doesn’t like me for some reason.

Sometimes he doesn’t hide very well…He thinks I won’t be able to find him….He is banking I will give up…not a chance…

We can follow this path to the front garden. I might find some deer to chase, or better yet I might find Orangeman…

Sometimes he hides on top of the wood pile behind the herb garden …

I  see him up there.  He thinks he is invisible

I need a little swim….I will take care of him later

I have water toys but I prefer wood from the fireplace.  It is an important component of my regular diet.

Here we are out front.  Orangeman is probably still sunning on the wood pile dreaming of mice and snakes.

I am getting a little warm.  I am considering a dip in the fountain.  There might be some stupid birds there to chase as well.

This garden tour is exhausting.  I need a drink….

image

I bet Orangeman is following us…he is kind of dumb about that…

image

See…what did I tell you…. he is creeping along under the arbor over there

image

If he took a bath (or a swim) every once in awhile he wouldn’t look so ragged.  He would “sparkle” like me…

image

I give up on Orangeman.  He is hopeless…time for a nap…I hope you enjoyed my garden tour…

    1. You don't want to ask...we inherited him along with four other feral cats, tiger, furry, kitten and the mom cat. Creative, huh?

  8. Cindy - what a gorgeous garden you have! I mean, what a beautiful playground for your animals. :) I'm surprised it has faired so well with a dog - ours tramples most of our yard but I love her anyway. :)

  9. Cindy, you've stolen my heart with this one. The garden is heavenly, and I know just how long it takes and how much work. But, those animals! Especially the doggie. Give him a big hug for me. I'm surrounded my my own as I type this. xx's
