Hi All. I have a really fun post coming up on Friday. Are you dreaming about or already have a trip planned this Spring? If so it it is time to think about what you will be wearing and how to squeeze it into that carryon!
In the meantime, I wanted to do a quick post on what I am up to right now. I am working on a kitchen family area redo that I am really excited about. The home is very dated ( think dark panelling). However, it has incredible views, a gorgeous fireplace and an interesting ceiling. We are using the fireplace color and texture as our focal point. The views will be maximized with large windows and doors, and the interiors will compliment the colors of nature outside. If you have been reading this blog for very long you know I am a fan of "blurred lines" between the interior and exterior. Especially when there are fabulous views involved.
This kitchen San Francisco Cottages and Gardens by I-Ching Ueng for Poggenpohl stopped me in my tracks. It is a little more modern than what my clients are after, but the combination of textures is very similar to what we are working with. Isn't this kitchen just fabulous?
