Currently Coveting…Sam Allen Interiors

One of my favorite bloggers Carla Aston http://carlaaston.com/designed  posted an image of a room on her blog recently that had me at Hello!! Here is the room that caught my eye by Sam Allen.  Carla wrote a great post about combining gray with wood  http://carlaaston.com/designed/color-palette-analysis-gray-wood-tone-combination
Is this pure lovliness or what?

I noticed he used the antelope carpet from Stark that we recently used in our Tahoe Project. I am not a huge fan of garden stools, but look at this one…all knarly & organic.  I am sorry I just can’t get into those shiny versions.

More of the same incredible project… you can come do my house Sam…This vignette is perfection…

I know I love him…I have similar pillows on my own sofas…

Now I remember the Design Chic ladies did a post on him and I dropped dead over this dining room in the same Campo Beach House…Imagine this room without that painting?  Or the silver leafed ceiling?  Pure genius!!

  13. Happy New Year! A little belated but I'm only just back from our festive break. I would not really have thought about combining wood with grey but it really looks stunning especially with the pop of burnt orange. Thank you for your comment on my London post. So pleased you enjoyed the 'tour'
