Friday Fun Stuff…Tahoe Notebook The Bunkroom

The bunkroom in the Lake Tahoe house is going to be really fun.  The owner and I worked all day yesterday on all the final fabric selections

The sliding barn doors and bunks will be constructed of reclaimed barn wood something like this only a little bit more refined.

  6. Nice! I've used that Kravet stripe in a window seat too and on a chair. It's tough and durable and adds such a nice color statement. Great job, Cindy!

  7. Cindy, I can not wait to see all the refining you do to your design style, I have seen this set up for bunks before, yet done in a more rustic fashion as your plans will be awwwww! Inspiring !!

I would have loved to have added a pillow like yours that are sold out. It's really an intriguing look to your home fashions.

  9. I just finished building my own cabin with all the attendant rough textures. For door handles I attached lengths of grape vine with the bark on. So much warmer and more user friendly than metal. If you want to see this I will send you a picture, email me, annorr@helix.nih.gov. Love your blog, You have done a remarkable job of enriching the details with the color and texture you have chosen. 11. Wow - love where this space is going and I can not WAIT to see this all come together! And let's talk about that PB pillow - so bummed that it's out of stock! I've been eyeing it for a bit but just hadn't made my way to PB to check it out in person. Such a great pattern.
