Remember when we used to spend hours arranging a single bouquet? I find I bring flowers in from the garden much more often now that I can just cut a huge bunch and drop them in a simple container.
How pretty are these simple white tulips?

Hydrangeas make some of the easiest single species bouquets because they are so large.

How do you feel about single species bouquets? Do you love them as much as I do?
YES I DO!! I love your flowers...I even like any type of greenery brought in. That is one cute pig in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Other than my lack of talent at flower arranging, the simplicity of one kind of bloom in a vase just makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, I even buy the faux and arrange them the same way. Your flowers are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Marty
DeleteThose sunflowers are faux! I was wondering if anyone would notice!!
I'm the biggest fan - love bringing home a bunch of any type of flowers from the farmer's market or grocery store - so easy to put in a vase and they look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love masses of the same flower in vases. I am not at all a fan of "mixed" bouquets, or anything still and arranged-looking. You see, great minds think alike. Great post !!
ReplyDeleteSo true Marsha!!!
DeleteThanks for hosting! I am looking forward to checking out all the wonderful coffee table Sunflowers!

DeleteI do! Great collection here Cindy and yours are lovely....just the right height. Can one every have enough flowers in a house? I think not! I have recently discovered another purpose for my small Moroccan tea glasses...I have six and use them to make up small bouquets from the garden for the dinner table and around the house. Just loving them.. xxx
ReplyDeleteJeanne I love doing small bouquets down the center of my table in different small vessels...so pretty!!
DeleteCindy...your images of your own floral arrangements are beautiful....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! Bouquets with a single type of flower are my favorite - I especially love hydrangeas, roses, and peonies. Your rose bouquets are just stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove small bouquets using one flower or similar colors en masse.

Definitely a fan of single species arrangements. Keeping it simple and less expensive for photo shoots as well :)
