Could you live in an all white home? I adore the look but I do have this little guy….white on white will probably never work for me!  Although, there is always bleach!

  1. And what a handsome guy ;-) !!! I actually love a semi white-on-white look....not 100%. More interesting and liveable. Also, I'm using a lot of indoor-outdoor white-ish fabrics that can be spot cleaned easily.

  2. I so could! Especially that second photo. I do have puppies and a few pieces that have white slipcovers luckily they are machine washable! :)

I have been debating about ordering slips for my sofas in ivory indoor outdoor! At least Beau would blend in when he is clean!

  5. OMG Cindy....I am in love with Beau. Millie is too by the way. She is very fickle but when I showed her his picture she ran around the house showing off!

I love the black and white and neutral idea. What is great too is that you can throw in color any time to make it pop! I have white slip covers on my two sofas and I have a trick for getting them clean when Millie and others (the guys) drag in the dirt. I will share it with you!

    great post and wonderful photos!

  6. White everywhere is my daydream... rooms like that are like a deep breath of calm. However, I too have a 'pet issue' -- three busy little birds -- which absolutely precludes anything light, much less white! Beau is a doll.

  7. I love the look, but I have a little guy too. He thinks all the furniture is designed for him to lounge upon. Too late to change that now...maybe in another life.

  9. The first room is perfect to me, I love the freshness, the texture, the contrast, the symmetry and repetition of objects and curves. I have white slips exclusively on my upholstered furniture, but my dog is a toy poodle. I think maybe they are bred to sit on white sofas! :) I love your style, BTW.

  11. Cindy, He is so cute-and he is white. I have white wall, but not white furniture. That is because I also have boys and dogs.
