Friday Stylish Over 50 Fashion Finds for Spring

Here on the Central Coast one day it will be in the 70’s and the next day it will be in the 60’s.  Some days Spring has sprung, others not so much! Today I want to talk about a few things I have found for Spring and some that I am on the hunt for.  I love this tunic from Cynthia Ashby for Artful Home. It comes in Aluminum, Indigo, and Port.  Naturally I chose the aluminum. This tunic has so much style and has extremely flattering lines.  Note the single pocket on the right and the pleat detail at the waist and left. The color appears bluish in the picture but it is more of a lighter charcoal gray.

You could wear it with a camisole and the sleeves rolled up or as I have shown it with the sleeves down and with a neck tie.  I am loving the neck ties are you?

CYNTHIA ASHBY (1)
Clockwise: Elliot Luca Bali Jules Tote Bag, Clarks Corsio Dallas Sandals , Cynthia Ashby/Artful Home Astor Shirt, Walaroo Victoria Hat Madewell Bandana Scarf, Hue Capri Legging
Notes:  The Cynthia Ashby Shirt is pricey so  more of an investment piece that is worth every penny. It has beautiful detailing on the front and back and has an asymmetric hem which I love.  I find her pieces to run a bit large so I got the XS.  I just purchased the Clark Sandals and I love them.  They are super comfortable (can accomodate the dreaded bunion) and stylish.  I just came across the Walaroo brand of hats.  They are inexpensive, come in every color and style imaginable, and are crushable and packable.  I don’t believe in spending a lot on summer leggings.  I like simple cotton ones and I find the Hue Brand] to be reasonable and well made.  The bandana from madewell is cotton and comes in tons of other colors with a great price point. I own the red and black and I have ordered the yellow! If I am going to carry a black bag in summer I like it to be perforated so it doesn’t look so heavy.  This bag is leather and very affordable.
What have you purchased this Spring that you are loving? I would love to hear about your finds.
