This home graced the pages of Elle Décor over two years ago but every time I see an image of it on Pinterest I am struck by the raw beauty of it. The house was designed by Architect Bob White of Forest Studios. See more of his wonderful work here http://foreststudio.com/. I love the way the long linear design hugs the coastline while the landscape totally embraces the location.
The outdoor spaces were treated with the same importance as the interiors.

The interiors were designed by the Turner ladies of the wonderful M Elle Design . I am a huge fan of their work http://www.melledesign.com/portfolio Theyy kept the palate simple and soothing so as to not compete with the magnificent views.
The surfaces and materials used again respect the site and it’s surrounds.

Wouldn’t you love to enjoy a glass of wine on one of the terraces and take in this view every evening?

For those of you who follow me on Instagram my friend Maryann (Classic Casual Home) and I are going to have a little fun on Instagram tomorrow. Join Beau and Chief #decordogs and post a picture of your favorite pooch. The winner will receive a surprise from Beau and Chief (a doggie spa day?) or more likely a bag of their favorite treats.

ReplyDeleteWhile Laguna Niguel is a stone's throw from where we live, I've never seen this house. It looks as if it could be situated somewhere along the coast in Northern California. I may have to do a drive by! :-)
