Dear Carolina is Finally Here

I admit it I am a sucker for any novel that takes place in the South.  I love Southern humor and the way the South is drenched in tradition. When my blogging buddy Kristy Woodson Harvey from the wonderful blog Design Chic offered to send me a copy I said I would love to do a giveaway and offer you all a chance to read it as well.  Everything Kristy does she does well and she is as sweet as “sweet potato pie”.

She does have cred by the way.  She is a southern belle and graduated with a degree in journalism from University of North Carolina with a Masters in Multi Cultural  Literature.
If the gorgeous cover doesn’t draw you in….

Then the trailer should….
One baby girl.
Two strong Southern women.
And the most difficult decision they’ll ever make

If you love sweet tea, southern ways…or you just like reading about those who do…

You will love this book….
I am not going to review it because I don’t want to spoil it for you…I will play the part of the temptress.

It is a woman’s story …..
Is there someone in your life or your family that has had to make a  decision that will shape their lives forever?

If you loved Steel Magnolias you will adore Sweet Carolina….it is about the strength of a mothers love and the sacrifices she has to make..

Are you in??? Would you love to win a copy?
All you have to do is leave a comment about what intrigues you about the story here and you will be automatically entered to win.  Please leave your email or if you are not comfortable doing that you can email me.

If that isn’t enough Design Chic is offering a $1,000 Shop Design Chic Shopping Spree to one lucky winner. To enter: Send proof of purchase of Dear Carolina (photos are fine!) to readdearcarolina@gmail. Every book is an extra entry!

  2. Love stories of Southern women. The whit, charm and resilience in any storm is refreshing and reassuring. Street Magnolias is in my library of DVDs and a perennial favorite for a good laugh and cry. After all, "you are more twisted than color TV!". Ha! Would love a copy to read during my Californa May gray springtime as I wait for the summer. Thanks for the opportunity and be well. Holly_boyl@yahoo.com.

  11. I follow Kristie and her mom on their wonderful blog Design Chic. Since I think I was a Southern Belle in another life, her book intrigues me, especially since I have a soft spot in my heart for North Carolina. I'm a Duke Cameron Crazie afterall. I'd love to read her book and congratulate her on such a fine accomplishment.
