One of my  all time favorite Hostess gifts are candles.  My favorite holiday candle is the Thymes Frasier Fir.  They come in multiple sizes including votives.  They now have hand wash , room spray, diffusers etc.  If you are local you can buy them at Donna’s Designs in Salinas or Warmth Company in Aptos.  If not you can order here

  2. I just drove by West Elm the other day and didn't have time to stop. Now I will definitely find time, I love these items...and I've got the Ted Watson book and I agree, it would make such a nice gift. Hope you're having fun out there in the stores.

  3. Hi Cindy, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment today. I love your gift ideas, and am thinking that those striped napkins from West Elm might be something I treat myself to! The apron from World Market is also great. I've gotten dish towels there and they hold up wonderfully. Candles are a favorite of mine also. I love Thymes room spray and I'm sure their candles are amazing too. My favorite candle is one I featured on my blog in November. It's called Pomme de Pine by Plat du Jour. It burns nicely and has the most fabulous aroma. It instantly puts me in a good mood.
