If you aren’t house toured out I will do two more posts of a holiday home tour that I am involved in every year. It benefits our local hospital and showcases for our five homes. One of the group always has a fall theme. We did the fall house ( a client of mine) last year. If you missed it you can read about that here http://roughluxeperspective.blogspot.com/2013/11/berries-and-branches-home-tour-fall.html …
Here is the dining table in the home decorated for fall.
These adorable cakes were at each place setting.
My good friend Roxanne, who does gorgeous floral arrangements, did an entire house (whew!!) Her decorations could easily be adapted for Thanksgiving as she used autumnal shades that accented the décor of the house.
Our local florist Swenson and Scillacci created this wonderful wreath for the front door. This was a favorite of many of the attendees.
I love the owner’s choice of the large mirror in the dining area of the great room. The house is not large but with high ceilings. The mirror makes a great statement.
Roxanne loves to mix succulents into her designs and the outcome is always lovely. You may recognize the “vessel” the flowers are in. Roxanne’s husband Steve constructed it from old fence boards. They have made many appearances on this blog for many different events.

Roxanne used the owner’s china as the base for the color scheme in the house
This was the gorgeous mantle in the same room. Roxanne created this combo with all faux greens believe it or not. Isn’t it fabulous?
On the tree beside the fireplace Roxanne used the owner’s ornaments and embellished it with some of her choosing.
Here is a closeup of the elements she used.
And the wrapped presents below
Roxanne created this little vignette at their breakfast table. I love the combination of the striped shawl and the polka dot dishes!
The owners have a wonderful collection of Early American Furniture and folk art which Roxanne highlighted with care.
I noticed as I made my way though the house that the owner and I share a love of American Antiques.
Roxanne decorated the tree in the family room with the owner’s folk art doll collection. Sorry about the poor picture.

Here is the mantel next to the tree
Here is another of Roxanne’s lovely floral creations
Love this subtle combination of moss and twigs…
I will be back on Monday with the house that Carmel Designer Jackie Hubbard and I worked on. We have worked together the last couple of years and have really enjoyed it.
So much gorgeousness!
