Every year I participate in a Holiday Home Tour http://svmhfoundation.org/page.aspx?pid=196 that benefits our local hospital. This year one of my client’s homes was selected . I was lucky enough to team up with Jackie Hubbard of Creative Interiors this yea. We were in charge of decorating the family room, dining room and living room with fall decor. Here are a few snaps that I took prior to the tour.
This three tiered gem was purchased for my daughter’s wedding. We decided it would look great packed with fall’s bounty.
My client has a lot of wonderful furniture. We have been enhancing what she has and have been adding to her blue and white collection. These beautiful ginger jars are Jackie’s but we are on the hunt for some narrower ones to find a permanent home on her mantel.
We really loved combining the rich oranges and golds with the blue and white, such a pretty combination.
We combined, vintage hydrangea, spider mums, pomegranates, pyracrantha, olive branches, grape vines, olive branches and delphinium for these arrangements. We had a hard time keeping these monsters from drying out for the duration of the show
We used my Pottery Barn Paisley napkins, twig chargers & bubble glass tumblers, my client’s beautiful silver and metal chargers with Jackie’s Woodland Spode to create the tablescape. The napkins were decked out with pepper berries and pheasant feathers.
Here we used simple pots stacked with moss and pumpkins, leaves and antlers to create the simple family room mantel.
Near the fire in the family room we created a cheese and wine tasting table. We covered the table with my burlap tablecloth, added my client’s throw, her lovely cheese plates and boards, added some wicker wine bottles from my collection and more of nature’s bounty. My client’s son’s tree provided all the beautiful persimmons.
I will post some more pictures of this project once it is completed.
I'm in love with your fall bounty vignette Cindy! Fall perfection!
