New Project Bath Progress

For those of you just tuning in this project is another “flipper” so there is a limited budget.

The outside is nearly painted and the interior is being painted.  Believe it or not we ended up painting the walls an official Behr (home depot) color. I always have home depot do my samples because they are cheaper and bigger than everyone else’s.   I randomly picked one of their colors  Sandstone Cove and we are painting most of the interior in this color.  As you recall it is a 50’s rancher so there is no beautiful trim or crown molding and we are going to leave it that way.

The trim (what there is of it) will be 1/2 strength of the same color.  The ceilings will be Benjamin Moore White Dove as the house is dark in places.

The first bathroom will have a vanity made of this piece cut down to size from Dovetail.  Baskets will be added to the bottom shelf for storage!

The sink will be a vessel sink like this

You can find these for a really great price here stoneoutlet.com

This American Standard Faucet will be mounted on the wall.  I think this one has a great look for the price

You can buy it here http://www.build.com/bathroom-faucets/c51220?f20035=wall%20mounted&f19214=lavatory

We are using this mirror from Vagabond Vintage

Oval Mirror With Pieced Wood Frame

I can’t decide which light to use above the mirror…any suggestions?

The floor tile will be Porcelanosa Ferroker Latin

Ferroker Caldera

The picture doesn’t depict the color  very well.  It has the look of slightly aged corten steel.   We bought this locally but Home Depot has some of their product line.

We will use off white subway tile in the shower with a glass liner that picks up the floor tile and the off white of the subway tile.  Things are coming along pretty quickly now.  I will be able to share some photos soon.
