Barbara Colvin & a Thank you

One of the reasons I was anxious to attend Traditional Home’s Napa Showhouse was to see Barbara Colvin’s work.  As stated in my previous  post, we were absolutely smitten with her designs.  Naturally it made me just want to see more so as soon as I got home I made a beeline to her website.

I love how she often adds a splash of color to an otherwise calm interior.

Barbara likes to utilize natural colors and materials to create a seamless blend with the outside.

I have a feeling she does her own landscapes as well.  Is this drool worthy or what?

What do you think? Are you in love?

On another note.  A lot is happening here. I am going to be working on a very exciting project that I think you will all enjoy.  Our little cottage is nearing completion.  I will post some progress pictures next week.  I am working on a Holiday Open House that benefits the local hospital so I will post some pics of that as well.  In the meantime….  One of the great things about blogging is the wonderful people you meet. Marsha who writes the fabulous blog Splenderosa is one of those people.  I don’t think I have ever won a thing in my life but guess what I just did!  I think Marsha just knew that my style could use a little bling!

If you need to do a little Christmas shopping or better yet a little shopping for yourself hop on over to visit Marsha here http://www.splenderosa.com/.  I love the new faux tortoise link necklaces she just got in.

  5. Can you tell me where I might purchase the striped pillows in the picture above, or a similar product? They are in front of a fireplace with a wood beam above
