Kris from Driven by Décor http://www.drivenbydecor.com/ contacted me about going to Round Top with a group of bloggers. Her friend Kimberly Ellis (who lives in Fort Worth) and has a great online store Off the Cape Vintage http://offthecapevintage.com/ has started a business giving tours and insider tips of Round Top. I have always had it on my bucket list so when she asked I said YES!!
Maryann wanted to come but she is going to be in Brazil (boo hoo) Debra from 5th and State is joining us as well as my daughter Jenna. We can’t wait!
I am giving my clients and local readers a shout out now because if you are looking for anything let me know! I personally really don’t need anything but I am going to be looking for a couple of things. I am looking for one of these vintage french travelling trunks to use as a coffee table in my game room. The one that I have now will be in the Barn Sale.

I am also going to be on the lookout for a small box to store the multiple remotes in. I don’t want it to be a fine antique because I want to be able to open and close at whim and not worry about ruining it. I also do not want it to be brand spanking new. Anything like that looks silly in my house. I can hear my family saying “you have ten of them in the closet”, but I am looking for the perfect one!
My Tahoe client and pal Barbie needs some great things for the finishing touches on her home. We are not even sure what we are looking for but we will know it when we see them!!
You can read about Kimberly’s tour here http://www.fwtx.com/articles/spring-round-top. Follow me on instagram (see sidebar) to find out what we are up to!!
On another note we are going to have a barn sale on May 2! We will have goodies from Round Top, designer cast offs, and antiques. More to come!
