Christmas Gift Wrap, Black, White and Red and a Giveaway!

Traditional Christmas Red has never worked in my house due to my terra cotta floor tiles.  I have always kind of skirted the issue at Christmas.  This year when we did our small redo I decided to embrace the floors rather than avoid them.  I added these Schumacher Strie Velvet Pillows.

My kitchen is connected to my family room where  this tile sets the tone.   By the way check out my early Christmas present from my Italian friend Esther!  Are you jealous?

If you follow me on Instagram you saw the fabulous paper and ribbon I scored at Marshall’s and Michaels.  I am so excited I can’t wait to get wrapping this weekend.  The flip side of getting paper that is not Christmas specific is being able to use it all year round. I don’t know about you but I am tired of all the leftover santa and christmas tree wrap left in my wrapping bin!!

Here are some of my favorite wrapping combinations that I sourced on Pinterest. Black and white is always right isn’t it?  And who doesn’t love a little polka dot?!!

  1. I'm so inspired!!! Since we are going to my sister's and we decorated her tree in white, silver and gold...I want to use those colors. I love the idea of being able to use the wrapping all year 'round.

  7. Hi Cindy, I was going to do blk and white this year then staged over to steal blue grey's and book prints. I always do whites and prints of whites, but thought I would do something on the darker side of gifting in a rich tone.
Love your giveaway, and of course I adore you and like you on FB, I follow you and check in on you waiting for some new inspiration from you or what you are up to with your daughter :)

I am excited to see your tree, all arranged in the beauty and style you find inspiring this year.

    See you soon.

  8. This is the best post on wrapping!!! I love looking at all the possibilities and you scored big with your ribbon and paper! Marshalls can have some great stuff. I'm still not sure what I'm doing, probably brown kraft paper as a base.
BTW--you are way to sweet about my post. But it feels good to hear the kind words :)

  11. Love all your wrapping ideas - right up my alley. I'm not a fan of the shiny, blingy colourful christmas warppings. Give me brown paper, white ribbon and a hand printed card and I'm happy! Wishing you and your family and wonderful Christmas and a great year to follow! xx Sharon
